WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS :
Prospect and on-board new accounts through cold calling and research;
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales growth in the existing customer account base;
Conduct required number of weekly account visits to achieve maximum coverage of sales opportunities;
Develop an opportunity pipeline to support monthly sales objectives;
Attend weekly strategy meetings with Regional Sales manager and team meetings when scheduled;
Ensure all sales activities are properly and consistently documented in the company CRM;
Facilitate industry leading customer service between project, branch and operational teams.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL...
Have 2-3 years of sales experience within the electrical distribution industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
Demonstrate a proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships;
Have a solid track record of achieving sales targets;
Consistently show outstanding communication skills in order to communicate effectively with all current and prospective customers on a regular basis;
Bilingualism in English and French would be an asset;
Excellent negotiation skills;
Experience with a CRM software suite.
