What is the opportunity?

In this role you will be accountable for the deployment and successful implementation of assigned projects within the Digital Channels Program to the appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the Agile Management Framework and governance structure.

What will you do?

  • Work effectively within a large Program structure, and adhere to all defined Program processes.
  • Develop integrated baseline project plans adapting estimating models as required, document estimating assumptions, refine plans and manage performance.
  • Identify and manage project schedules, critical paths, resources, and risks.
  • Capture and track metrics and perform trend analysis.
  • Manage project scope / requirements changes, multiple and competing demands and priorities determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk.
  • Raise and track issues and conflicts, remove barriers, resolve issues of medium complexity involving stakeholders and escalate to appropriate level where required.
  • Manage project closure initiatives including post implementation reviews and lessons learnt audits.
  • Identify and resolve / escalate potential conflicts between long-term architecture direction and project constraints.
  • Recommend best solutions based on understanding of business issues and best practices.
  • Responsible for monitoring project progress against plan and formally reporting to Senior Manager - Program Management, on a weekly basis through the established project status report.
  • Responsible for managing assigned project financials within the established approved budget.
  • What do you need to succeed?

    Must Have :

  • Relevant College, University and / or post-graduate degree in Business
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification or equivalent
  • 7 to 10 years project-related experience
  • Nice to Have :

  • Professional in Business Analysis (PMI PBA) Certification
