Specific Position Duties
Management of the project plan including scope, schedule, cost, technical, resource and risk management. Establish and maintain detailed technical plans, estimates and schedules
Manage the product definition process from requirements definition through design, development, validation & verification and certification
Project tracking and reporting (non-recurring, schedule, and milestone accomplishments), using Project scheduling, reporting and financial management tools as appropriate
Qualifications for Position
Degree in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Science or equivalent
8+ years engineering experience in a safety critical systems development environment, preferably aerospace but candidates from automotive, rail and nuclear industries will also be considered, and leading multidisciplinary teams with minimum of 3 years direct project engineering experience or at least in a leading position
Electronic Control Product development experience from design through certification in a software and systems environment
Knowledge and experience with software development process and DO-178B is highly desirable
Program management knowledge including project planning, change management, earned value reporting, and experience with computer-
based scheduling and reporting tools
