Reporting to the Director, Spa, responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Demonstrates a commitment to personal guest service excellence
Knowledgeable about all aspects of treatments and retail offerings to support revenue growth
Direct and lead the day-to-day spa operation ensuring all standards are upheld through colleague interactions with guests and each other
Manage inventory according to budgeted requirements
Support retail sales through training and coaching of Spa staff as well as building relationships with vendors and external trainers.
Oversee daily productivity through scheduling and payroll maintenance
Conduct Bi-weekly payroll
Participate and have an understanding of forecast, month end, budget and payroll processes
Responsible for the efficient training of staff in terms of work-related tasks and participate in training and development of current and future employees, maintain a JTC and continued training for all colleagues.
Train and support Spa Concierge in appropriate guest processes ie. Booking, Check-In, Check-Out and General inquiries
Reinforce and support the booking process of the spa to safeguard revenue and minimize loss from cancellations or unconfirmed cancellations.
Manage group bookings in tandem with Sales and Conference Services
Foster inter-departmental relationships to ensure high guest and colleague satisfaction
Work in collaboration with the Director of Spa on projects, events, special requests.
Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives
Carry out any other tasks as assigned
Previous leadership experience required
Previous experience in spa setting an asset
Computer literacy in Windows, MS Office Word, Excel, Opera PMS System and Spasoft is recommended
Strong business acumen
Have excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English.
Proactive Skill Set Spa experience an asset
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure
Ability to consistently stand and walk through out shift
