A new restaurant is coming to Lethbridge and they are looking for an Executive Chef! Our client is looking for a creative individual to establish a menu, train & guide kitchen personnel, and develop & oversee all processes in the kitchen.

Position Summary :
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Supervising and scheduling all culinary operations; inspects the methods of preparation and cooking and checks the sizes for portioning standards
Training and mentoring Sous Chefs and Cooks
Developing menu and featured items
Purchasing products and inventory management; GFS Ordering
Cost control & budgeting; labour & inventory
Monitoring and evaluating competitor activity and products
Required Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years’ experience; this will not be a training ground
Strong core values; integrity, positivity, and compassion
A keen interest in developing relationships with local farmers, producers, and markets
Excellent organization skills and dependability
Thorough knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
Bonus Points For : Culinary Degree
Compensation & Hours :
The anticipated rate of pay will be $55K - $60K / year with gratuity and / or bonus plan
