Brief DescriptionDetailed Description

  • Support AV requirements within the Savers Sourcing department.
  • Support print servers, printers, scanners and multi-function copiers.
  • Support Microsoft Office 2007, 2010, 2013 with emphasis on Outlook, Excel, and Word. Some light Access support.
  • Support the Interactive Intelligence contact center software suite with emphasis on Interaction Client, Scripter, and Business Manager.
  • Support physical server and network infrastructure in the datacenter as well as the operating systems, both bare metal and virtual, backup systems, switches, and telecom equipment.
  • Support users in the call center locations with phone and desktop access to corporate networks.
  • Support mobile workforce’s technology including laptops, mobile phones, tablets, and other mobile devices
  • Document software and hardware installations.
  • Audit and track hardware and software inventory.
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot computer and laptop hardware and peripherals. Test configurations to confirm system operations.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and support operating systems, utilities, communication, and software applications.
  • Diagnose and resolves computer problems, which include hardware, operating systems, software applications (including custom software), memory management, printers and wireless communications.

  • Manage and coordinate special projects when necessary.
  • Collaborate with administrative support to maintain support tracking software.
  • Document and respond to requests for service and reported problems.
  • Coordinate activities with network services or other information systems support.Provide current status of projects to supervisor.
  • Help facilitate the use of computers by assisting, educating and supporting the end user in terms understandable to users at many levels.
  • Refer network and major hardware and software problems to other support personnel as needed.

    Research new technologies and processes, maintaining familiarity with the latest computer techniques and products. Job Requirements

  • Working knowledge of call centers preferred.
  • Experience resolving service problems and solutions with hardware and software programs.
  • Demonstrated skills in hardware / software installation, configuration, Windows XP, Win7, and troubleshooting support, in a variety of office settings both small (5 20 workstations) to large (150-
  • 200 workstations) corporate environments.

  • Demonstrated skills with managed phone systems such as extension and user maintenance, VOIP experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills configuring and managing support ticket / issue tracking systems. Experience with knowledgebase systems preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in maintaining server and network infrastructure, such as Windows Servers, switches, and enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated skills in creating, executing, and managing a scheduled, proactive maintenance plan.
  • Demonstrated skills in word processing and spreadsheets. Microsoft Visio experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills providing remote support to users by utilizing remote access and / or screen sharing technologies.
  • Knowledge of imaging technologies and image management preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server and general knowledge of database operations preferred.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of the team, and manage others on the team when the project or task requires additional help
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.

    Minimum Required Education, Training and Experience :

  • Associates degree in computer science or related field, or a combination of education, certifications and experience that yields the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • 5 - 8 years experience in hardware / software installation, configuration, WinXP, Win7, Windows Server 2008 and above, VMware or Hyper-
  • V, and troubleshooting support in a medium to large (150-200) corporate environment.
