Systems Administrator AD / Exchange / Sharepoint

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our core operations team with advanced administrator experience and skills in Exchange 2010 & Exchange online, Sharepoint 2010 on-

premise, Active Directory 2012, and O365 Administration.

The Systems Administrator will be accountable for administering and maintaining the core technology stack including Active Directory, Email and Collaboration services, and Windows server infrastructure (on Intel hardware).

The successful candidate must demonstrate expertise in AD, Microsoft SCCM scripting and packaging, SCOM, SolarWinds, Cisco UCS.

and hybrid Exchange environments

  • Technical expertise in advanced Active Directory services, including ADFS and AD Connect configurations.
  • Expertise in LDAP, DFS, DHCP, DNS, and GPO design and management
  • Proficiency in Hybrid Exchange environments that consist of Skype for Business, Lync, and UCS deployments
  • Expertise in provisioning, supporting, and troubleshooting Windows Server platforms
  • Skills in VMware virtualization infrastructure, including SRM
  • Experience designing and migrating to an O365 model
  • Exposure to Veritas Enterprise Vault and complex public folder migrations
  • Experience with SCCM and SCOM, specifically with respect to automating deployments, patching, updating, and monitoring and alerting
  • Strong technical understanding and experience with Disaster Recovery processes and technologies
  • Expertise in provisioning, supporting, and troubleshooting Windows Server platforms
  • Skills in VMware virtualization infrastructure, including SRM
  • Competence in monitoring and testing system performance to provide performance statistics and reports
  • Proficiency in scripting and packaging mainstream applications and operating systems
  • Experience with extending services into and Azure or AWS infrastructure as well as DevOps
  • Proficiency managing complex infrastructures across multiple datacenters
  • Ability to conduct research on server hardware, software, and protocols in support of procurement and development efforts
  • Accountability to work within the Service desk queue for server and server resource issues; prioritize and respond to helpdesk tickets as appropriate
  • A maturity and dedication to following ITIL methodology (change, incident, and problem management)
  • A commitment to following appropriate IT Project Management guidelines
  • Act as subject matter expert in the design and review of new server systems, applications, and hardware; conduct capacity planning as needed
  • Competence in creating clear documentation on existing technology
  • Proven ability to mentor junior colleagues and collaborate with different teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of change management and project management, with the ability to identify / define gaps, risks and requirements and produce supporting documentation
  • Works and inspires others to work at high performance levels
  • Ability to generate reports with a high attention to detail
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining all manners of server hardware
  • Experience with server performance tuning and monitoring tools
  • Proven knowledge of systems development life cycle methodologies
  • Knowledge and implementation of the following tools is preferred : MS SQL 08 / 12, F5 / Kemp, IIS, VMware, NetApp, TSM backup, MS Server 2008 / 2012
  • Comfortable in a time-sensitive, project driven, team-based environment
  • Competent mentoring and delegation skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities with a high attention to detail
  • Team player with the ability to conduct work with utmost confidentiality and professionalism
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior technical analytical position responsible for managing complex server and cloud environments
  • University degree or equivalent experience in the field of computer science or management information systems or related
