demonstrates the philosophy, techniques, and theories of the Child Care Centres and the Early Childhood Education Area; and maintains on-
going communication with families, college personnel, and the community, with respect to the children and the program; and performs other related duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will possess a two-year Early Childhood Education diploma from a recognized Ontario Community College or an Association of Early Childhood Educators Ontario equivalency.
A minimum of one year of experience as a Qualified Early Childhood Educator in an inclusive childcare setting is required.
Other qualifications include excellent teamwork, problem solving, precise planning and organizational skills, written / verbal communication, human relation skills as well as demonstrated skill and knowledge to deal with all aspects of diversity in a post-secondary environment.
