The quality assurance technician is part of the FSQR team. It is responsible for effectively reporting information on food safety practices and ensuring that these practices comply with Cargill's food safety policies, the customer's policy and the requirements of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
Please note that this role is part time, on Saturdays from 6am-3h30pm, and other occasional shifts when needed
70% - Check the establishment of control points related to the HACCP system. If necessary, must communicate and make the necessary follow-
ups with the various stakeholders in case of non-compliance.
15% - Ensure that good manufacturing and hygiene practices are followed in the factory.
5% - Perform audits of finished products to ensure that customer specifications are met.
5% - Train employees on the various technical positions related to the tasks of the food safety program as well as on good manufacturing and hygiene practices
5% - Samples raw materials and finished products for microbiological analyzes
