Primary Duties Include
Opening and closing files
File management including all filing (both paper & electronic)
Compose, transcribe, format, andproofread routine letters and memos
Assisting with dockets, expenses, calendar and schedule management
Preparing necessary legal documents, file summaries, photocopying,filing, etc.
Shared responsibility responding to numerous emails and telephone calls
Communicate professionally with all internal and external clients
Other administrative duties as required
Required Experience / Skills / Qualifications
Minimum 2-3’ years of experience in Intellectual Property
Legal Assistant diploma
Stellar technical skills using MS Office 2010 (including MS PowerPointand Excel, document management system
Professional communication skills to correspond with clients
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Extremely organized, thorough follow-up and the ability to work wellunder pressure
Ability to manage multiple priorities and take initiative
Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to workboth independently and in a team oriented atmosphere
