What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will form part of a team that is responsible for technology research, planning, design, development and implementation of diverse and highly complex Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems (e.g.

SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD) used across RBC Enterprise.

Moreover, you will work with your peers to formulate the overall strategic goals and prioritization.

You will also be responsible for assisting in the identification and realization of opportunities for application portfolio optimization and liaise with vendors whose software products form part of the group's solutions.

What will you do?

  • Contribute to the IAM IT strategic direction; providing technology thought-leadership and strategic solutions that enhance and support business processes and enable the IT Risk Functional Unit in achieving their goals.
  • Provides leadership and counsel in establishing and implementing processes, standards, guidelines and best practices for the operations of solutions.
  • Works with Enterprise Architecture and various Business partners to achieve business alignment and strategic business objectives.
  • Participates in the documentation of high level operational processes, highlighting key controls and monitoring these controls for opportunities for strategic performance improvement.
  • Champions the creation of metrics and manages with a higher level of information i.e.
  • at the trends and management indicator level; differentiates between project and program metrics.

  • Monitors metrics to develop and enhance the strategic roadmap.
  • Promotes innovative or improved methods to get the work done and implements best practices.
  • What do you need to succeed?

    Must-have

  • 3-5 years of experience in IAM with special consideration to those with experience in architecture and strategy.
  • Experience in one or more of the following IAM domains; Authentication, Access Request and Provisioning, Privileged Access Management
  • Experience with Cloud Identity in hybrid environments
  • Knowledge of IAM products, relevant technology and industry best practices
  • Ability to identify and mitigate gaps in aspects of an organizations IAM maturity
  • Nice-to-have

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience
  • CISSP or CRISC
  • Knowledge of IT Standards, Methodologies, CMM and audit requirements
