The Customer Experience Business Intelligence (CEBI) Team is looking for a dynamic Business Analyst to join our Agile Team and help develop high usability data solutions for our business stakeholders.

Our team works with a variety of stakeholders that have different needs and capabilities and we adjust and design exceptional solutions to meet those needs.

CE Business Intelligence team has adopted Agile methodology supported by Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Agile Analysts and Developers to enable our vision of creating a best in-

class business intelligence team.

As a member of the Client Experience Business Intelligence Team, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for partnering with the Product Owners, BI Development team, Business Owners and key stakeholders to provide leading edge data and reporting solutions at TELUS.

Here’s how...

On a daily basis, you’ll help coordinate, communicate, design, plan and iterate on stories that will advance the product that the Product Owner has conceptualized.

You will work closely and collaboratively with your Product Owner to advance the vision of our products; you demonstrate and promote collaboration, effective communications and knowledge sharing best practices.

You will use your strong desire to better understand what the business needs, what the Developers need and what can be done, and then connect the dots to ensure the effective development of stories that will be used to advance the product your Product Owner has envisioned.

  • Skilled communicator : You have a passion for listening and understanding our customers’ needs to ensure that we design solutions that empower them
  • Capable of listening and interpreting stakeholder feedback to understand business processes and identify business issues and / or objectives
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster good working relationships at multiple organizational levels
  • Capable and willing learner who proactively researches solutions to business challenges
  • Knowledge of call centre operations and related metrics
  • Detail oriented, yet able to stand back and appreciate the big picture
  • High standard of performance, creative and self-sufficient with ability to work successfully under pressure
  • Sense of urgency and ability to drive issues to closure despite setbacks
  • Technically sound, whether you were an engineer in a previous life, you code in your spare time or you just love technology and it’s endless applications;
  • you thrive with abstracting away complexity and delivering tools, processes and new understanding that help our business grow

  • Understanding required to quickly learn new technology and applications
  • Experience with reporting, data and analysis

  • Experience in Agile Development Methodology is an asset
  • Operations experience is an asset
