The newly created Capital Developments’ Strategic Change team is bringing a people system view to capital investment across Fraser Health.

This team fosters collaborative partnerships, integrates technical and clinical systems, and aligns capital asset delivery with strategic priorities.

Though the team is new, the individuals on it have a long track record of achievements within Fraser Health. We utilize tried and true tools and methods in strategic thought leadership, project and change management and are proud to contribute to the evolution of best practice.

The overall responsibilities will include providing strategic leadership and consultation in the design, planning, implementation, integration and evaluation of transformational change initiatives as part of major capital development investments.

These investments often times include facility (re)developments and / or information management advances.

You will lead a team of change enablers including other strategic change practitioners, establish and reinforce shared vision and provide operational direction. You will also :

  • Provide integrated project change leadership and management, and change subject matter expertise;
  • Select, develop and deploy change resources including Capital Development’ Strategic Change Client Partners;
  • Manage interconnectivity and work flow within change initiatives;
  • Develop and deploy strategies to ensure deliverables meet key stakeholder clinical, operational, strategic and political needs;
  • Identify resistance and performance gaps and formulate change management plans and activities.

  • Would you like to join our team? We will be looking for you to have :

  • A Master’s Degree in Health, Business or related discipline;
  • PMP, PROSCI and / or CHE certification / designation; and
  • Ten (10) years of recent-related experience in a complex health care environment including five (5) years’ progressive project, change and / or capital development leadership experience.
  • Valid BC driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business related purposes.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
  • This Regular Full Time opportunity is based at Central City Tower in Surrey, BC though the capital development assignment(s) will require significant presence at other FH sites.
