Overview The Associate, Wealth Management will be responsible for processing and following up on client trades and transactions, handling incoming and outgoing phone calls with clients, responding to requests for information, and providing outstanding service.
You will also be involved in preparing correspondence and reports, servicing clients’ general day-to-day requests, maintaining broker files and other general office duties.
This position will assist Investment Advisors whose focus is on building client relationships.
Acts as primary service-related and administrative contact for high net worth investors
Provides proactive client service and promotes a positive client experience
Handles incoming and outgoing client phone calls and emails
Responds to requests for information in a timely manner
Handles all client service issues in a professional manner and maintains client files
Initiates and follows-up on trades and transactions to ensure proper settlement and delivery
Communicates internally with various operational and administration departments
Prepares professional correspondence and reports, documents and files
Maintains current knowledge of client accounts by reviewing activity and applicable reports
Assists in preparing mailings such as seminars, newsletters, and information packages
Involvement in client appreciation events
1 year experience in the financial industry is required
IIROC proficiency for registration is required with a minimum of Investment Representative status (CSC & CPH)
Fluent oral and written communication in English
Organizational and administrative skills required to perform activities in a deadline driven environment, working with constant interruptions
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
