The Channel - Go-to-Market (GTM) & Adoption team is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead our merchandising strategy and clearly define the messaging and story-

telling strategy regionally and help define the approach to the in-store customer experience.

As a member of the Merchandising Strategy & Execution team, you will be an active participant in developing how our priorities come to life and what the in-

store experience will be by partnering with various stakeholders from a number of teams like Digital Marketing team, Marketing, Channel teams & various external partners to execute an immersive store experience.

We are looking for a collaborative, insight-driven, and enthusiastic individual to lead the strategy, development and execution of campaigns, programs, and planning / road mapping to enhance our in-

store customer experience, while helping to drive people into our Corporate Stores & Dealers. The successful candidate will develop the strategy and programs to increase customer interest throughout the store and help stories come to life through our dynamic merchandising execution to entice interest throughout our customer’s lifecycle.

You should be comfortable defining the merchandising strategy, creating compelling and innovative merchandising ideas and presenting your merchandising planning to cross functional Vice President level leadership regularly through the Merchandising Review Board (MRB).

Here’s how

  • Lead the charge for the merchandising team to collaboratively plan and build out a roadmap of marketing campaign support for West vs East store windows, in-
  • store, and billboards; work with a cross functional group from Mobility & Home Solutions Marketing to align on priorities and present back to Channel Leadership our merchandising recommendation to ensure alignment at MRB before sharing back and committing broadly with our cross functional leadership teams

  • Align all stakeholders’ priorities to a single roadmap / messaging map and helping to develop the tactics needed to demonstrate our stories in-
  • store and define the overall merchandising experience; weekly, you will be a leader in the Merchandising Brief Review discussion and encourage the team to come up with the most innovative merchandising solutions for all briefs coming through weekly

  • Provide business and channel insights; be in the best position to ensure that the entire store is being considered, West vs East, with every ask to ensure consistency, relevance and effectiveness among all the in-
  • store stories and weekly asks

  • Spearhead new merchandising opportunities, elements and programs to increase store traffic, assist during the sales conversation and keep our stores looking great
  • Constantly look for ways to improve how we execute our merchandise throughout all of our store concepts with regular post mortems and assessments based on insights
  • Act as a merchandising consultant for new and emerging products coming into our stores
  • Qualifications

    You’re the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Strong ability to negotiate and prioritize with a proven ability to manage and influence cross functional teams
  • Experience in successfully navigating the who’s who across business units and regions
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders at leadership, peer, and store level, be someone who can advise and sell at all levels
  • Outstanding understanding of retail operations, business development, sales methodologies and retail merchandising practices
  • Strong planning and analysis skills; strong bias for action
  • Communicate clearly and purposefully, sharing business and strategic context on an ongoing basis to ensure our Merchandising & Marketing Communications teams and channel stakeholders are continually informed of relevant priorities and expectations
  • Thrive in ambiguous situations, demonstrating structured thinking / processes to simplify complex problems
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to handle multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively
  • University degree in Business or similar specialization
  • 7+ years of experience in a product management / marketing, channel or similar role
