Role and Responsibilities :
Source and prospect new clients continually; conduct sales calls, including cold calls and lead and referral follow up to present product solutions and increase sales in assigned territory.
Liaise with Wajax technical staff to provide technical support assigned customers.
Liaise with Service Operations, other in-house departments, manufacturers, and all other relevant suppliers to determine status of orders, availability of technician support, and drive resolution of all customer concerns..
Develop proposals and quotes based upon client needs, specifications and product offerings.
Prospect and source new parts and service opportunities within existing accounts.
Obtain broad product and service knowledge in order to deliver value to assigned customer base.
Meet and exceeds all established sales targets monthly / annually.
Assists in the creation, assembly, and delivery of RFPs.
Skills and Qualifications :
Minimum 1-3 years' outside sales experience required, preferably in Heavy Equipment or Material Handling equipment
Strong customer focus with the ability to foster strong working relationships
Proven track record in attaining / exceeding account management and sales goals.
Technical background / experience as Journeyman will be considered an asset
Must possess a valid driver’s licence
