What is the opportunity?

Reimagining the future of work and the employee experience is quickly becoming one of the most critical and exciting priorities in the experience design landscape.

As Senior Manager, Employee Experience Strategy & Design, you will partner with HR experience / portfolio owners to transform and implement strategies and solutions to drive value for our employees based on a strong foundation of well understood employee needs.

You’ll be responsible for producing and directing employee experience design to ensure unification, ease of use, drive engagement and elevate employee experience.

The successful candidate will have proven skills in analysis, problem framing, research and strategic planning, as well as the confidence to persuasively present to cross-

functional teams and diverse senior executive audiences.

What will you do?

  • Help to imagine the future of work’ by discovering and framing the problem that enables fresh perspectives
  • Plan and support design research activities to define current state customer pain points and map ideal future experiences
  • Work closely with teams to help them apply human centered design concepts and contribute to an employee experience mindset
  • Conduct design sessions and design sprints to co-create ideas for experimentation
  • Ensure that employee needs and motivations are kept top of mind for partners and designers, throughout the design process
  • Lead workshops, which include guiding multi-disciplinary groups through exercises that define objectives and success criteria, inform project direction and inspire design and to create the next generation employee experiences.
  • Work on reimagining future and identifying opportunities for core functions like talent acquisition, building learning organizations, nurturing financial confidence, and more.
  • Manage and provide direct guidance, expertise and education to experience owners, designer and the broader HR team and Business Partners
  • Constantly explore ways to create more cohesive experiences for our employees
  • Design presentations, which includes writing, thoughtful image finding, and designing visual information with the intent of telling a compelling story
  • What do you need to succeed?


  • Passion for learning about people and their motivations and behaviour in the worlds they inhabit
  • Comfortable working on ambiguous and multifaceted fuzzy problems, sometimes alone but mostly with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to comfortably switch between the details of the data and the bigger picture
  • Ability to synthesize research into clear insights that can persuade diverse internal partners of their relevance and importance
  • Ability to create, sell and execute Design Strategy and Research approaches appropriate to the scope of a given engagement
  • Technically proficient with Design Research methods, techniques and tools
  • Demonstrable experience in Design Strategy and delivery or relevant fields
  • Graduate degree in Design, Psychology, Human Factors, Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction preferred, or comparable work experience
  • Showcases great storytelling and communication skills, whether on paper or in person
  • Nice-to-have

  • Background in graphic design, industrial design, or visual communication skills
  • Knowledge and / or experience in the agile process
