The Role :

  • Provide full scope support for Merger and Acquisition transactions
  • Prepare legal documents, draft letters, and handle client correspondence
  • Provide executive level support for business development initiatives
  • Calendar management and meeting organization on various boards and committees
  • Document management duties, including filing and record keeping
  • Manage monthly client billings
  • Schedule travel arrangements
  • Provide additional administrative assistance and general office duties as assigned
  • The Ideal Candidate :

  • Legal Assistant diploma and / or equivalent experience
  • Five years’ experience in a legal support position; 2 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions is an asset
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Has a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and able to prioritize workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
