Here's how

Reporting to the Wellness & Health Services Manager, as a People & Culture (P&C) Specialist (Absence Management Specialist), you will be accountable for an end-

to-end customer experience :

  • Team Member & Leadership Absence Support :
  • Act as a single point of contact for the customers you support Instruct & educate on policies, procedures and processes to ensure continuity of support Real-

    time engagement and peripheral support management

  • Early Assessment :
  • Delivering effective early assessments and conducting interviews with team members, managers, and other stakeholders Identify and collect information regarding team member absence drivers Initial definition of team member functional restrictions and limitations Liaise with and engage partner groups, as necessary Actively address opportunities for proactive care, treatment and rehabilitation Determination of requirement for more comprehensive case management support Communicating required information to appropriate stakeholders Developing and facilitating plans to ensure safe and timely return to work, while engaging in aligned goal setting with team members and managers


    You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Valued for your 3 to 5 years of experience related to case management in disability / absence management field
  • High capacity to work in collaboration, on a daily basis, with colleagues and different stakeholders
  • Recognized for managing numerous, competing priorities and commitments with attention to detail in an organized manner
  • Able to manage changing priorities / tight deadlines effectively in a very fast paced environment; ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome confusion and simplify complex situations
  • Noted as an exceptional communicator and collaborator who can influence and build strong relationships
  • Poised and confident in engaging with different levels of management, including clearly articulating concepts and recommendations
  • Creative problem solver and adapts in diverse situations
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint & PowerPoint; comfortable with learning new technologies
  • Possess a university degree or college diploma with a focus on health
  • Bilingualism in English & French, conversational & written
