We are seeking an experienced Manager, Human Resource Programs for our North American Headquarters districtoffice.
Build, develop and manage a team of HR Specialists
Assist with the implementation of PCL’s programs strategy; collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to provide strategic support in the areas of HR talent programs as well as work in cross-
functional teams across corporate services for the purposes of supporting all sectors
Execute on the creative development, release and continuous improvement of our Employee Value Proposition, both externally for future talent and internally, supporting our continued cultural development throughout PCL
Lead role on the Career Management program, including the refinement and maintenance of behavioral competencies
Challenging, evolving and executing our company-wide engagement survey strategy, leveraging vendors and technology to enhance the experience for all PCLers, support our districts and provide and agile approach to support our culture at PCL
Leading and establishing other traditional talent and organizational development portfolio projects and initiatives
Focus on improving the employee experience
Key team contributor with a mandate to move from metrics to predictive analytics for our stakeholders and executives
Cultivating a strong relationship with Business Technologies to provide agile technology solutions that meet and exceed the needs of our stakeholders as well as align with the HR / PD strategic plan
Collaborate with all departments, with a specific focus with Communications, to ensure all new programs and improvements are launched successfully
Degree or diploma in human resources management, business or related field.
7 - 10 years of proven success in a human resources generalist or specialist role.
2 or more years’ experience in a supervisory role.
Successfully lead and manages program activities through the complete program life cycle from requirements and planning to rollout and measurement.
This includes program definition, project scheduling, budgeting and forecasting, resource planning, contracting, risk and issue management, change control and release management.
Project management experience related to talent management, career management and engagement.
Proven ability to develop comprehensive talent strategies; ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels.
Experience leading cross-functional teams; project and change management.
Good analytical mindset, open to new ideas, continuous learner and solution provider.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with excellent communication, presentation and consulting skills.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships quickly and effectively collaborate with colleagues, management, and other key stakeholders at all levels of our organization.
