Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

As a Senior Design Specialist, you’re at the core of big data implementation for Radio Access Network configuration and performance management data.

Working with state of the art data infrastructure, you’ll drive best practices in system architecture and hardware data administration.

You’ll be an original, implementing Splunk at an enterprise level. You’ll ensure our tools are 5G ready. Transforming large amounts of business critical data into meaningful insights and presented in a clear and simple manner.

These insights will influence a wide audience including engineers, systems analysts, developers, strategy managers and senior leaders.

Your solutions and recommendations are inputs on which strategic business planning decision are made, including how to build, turn on and maintain a new site and what are the key performance indicators.

While you’ll grow your expertise and knowledge, you’ll also shape and guide the next generation of design specialists with your leadership, knowledge, curiosity and drive to do more for our customers.

Here's how

  • Acting as one of our Splunk prime
  • Shaping the architecture and system admin by collaborating with business partners to ensure the right data flows into the system, data stability and instantaneous data management reporting
  • Troubleshooting and taking learning to establish new protocols and best practices
  • Monitoring the Base Station Almanac Process (BSA) and influencing the links between BSA and GIS
  • Creating search, scripts and tools to enhance and maintain critical files (including 911 and billing) and data
  • Developing dashboard reporting using Tableau and collaborating with internal business partners to ensure reporting accuracy
  • Driving process improvement through automation
  • Providing subject matter expertise and coaching and mentoring to other team members
  • Qualifications

  • Known as an exceptional communicator, collaborative, innovative and process-improvement focused
  • Respected for your ability to analyze and translate data into meaningful insight, recommendations and solutions
  • Confident with engaging, influencing and building strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Noted for your experience with Splunk, Tableau and state of the art database technologies
  • Known to have strong scripting skills in Python, Perl, MySQL
  • Recognized as having solid understand of system and database architecture (Linux, Oracle)
  • With a Bachelor degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Math
  • Great-to-haves

  • Understanding Radio Access Network infrastructure and functionality
  • Experience with budget management
