Description Are you looking to work for a dynamic organization located in North York, Ontario? Our client is looking for an experienced Full Cycle Bookkeeper to join their fantastic team.

You will have a minimum of 5 + years experience and will be responsible for the accounting operations of the organization, with the goal of enhancing the accuracy of the company?

s reported financial results, maintaining an excellent system of accounting records and working with comprehensive controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk.

The individual in this role will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for budget management, financial analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting.

Your duties will include but not limited to :

  • Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures;
  • Responsible for the completion of account reconciliations, journal entry postings, accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, and financial reporting;
  • Prepares government filings, such as, HST, PST, QST, WSIB, EHT, T4 filing;
  • Manages the production of the annual budget;
  • Calculates variances from the budget and report significant issues to management;
  • Assists with the development and improvement of monthly financial records and reporting;
  • Assists CFO with analysis and projects based on financial measures;
  • Assists with any regulatory audits or assessments;
  • Manages cash flow and intercompany transactions. Qualifications ?Completion of a University Degree or College Diploma with a concentration in Accounting, or related discipline;
  • Minimum of 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, some of which were in a multiple client and multicurrency environment
  • Expert knowledge and experience working with QuickBooks;
  • High proficiency with MS Excel and Word;
  • Ability to learn quickly and are self-motivated
  • A team player with the ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and major banks online system;
  • Experience working with outside CPA firms and auditors in preparation of yearly financial statements and compliance reports;
