  • Responsibilities :

    Delta Controls’ Technical Services team is looking for a Web Designer to join our Partner Application Services group.

    Partner Application Services provides advanced technical services and engineering assistance to our global network of distributors.

    For each project, we work closely with the customer to develop the exact solution they need, either by customizing existing Delta products, or by creating totally custom ones.

    The Partner Application Services group provides a vast array of services, including :

  • Solution design consultations.
  • Software application development for customization of enterprise web applications and mobile applications.
  • Custom user interface development public kiosks, energy dashboards, building operation graphics.
  • System integration protocols (BACnet, Modbus), enterprise applications (room booking systems, occupant tracking, etc), cloud applications.
  • Building Control System engineering and programming.
  • As a Web Designer within our PAS team your tasks will be primarily designing and building the front end for customer user interfaces, including site graphic design and software development, with the opportunity to expand into backend development and other services in the future.

    Your experience with design and UI / UX allows you to create simple, elegant, innovative and easy to use interfaces which exceed the expectations of the customer.

    Your programming skills allow you to create the underlying code which provides data to these interfaces.

    Main skills required :

  • Degree or Technical Certification from an accredited Electronics Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Web Technologies program.
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written and drawing / visual techniques.
  • Ability to work independently, and quickly change focus between multiple projects.
  • A portfolio comprised of projects which demonstrate innovative, effective, user interface designs for complex software systems.
  • Self-driven and results oriented.
  • Experience required :

  • A minimum of 2 years applied experience in website development.
  • Experience with one or more design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign or equivalent drawing / mapping programs).
  • Experience using web technologies including HTML, PHP, and JavaScript to create responsive websites.
