Overseeing general tidiness of property (95% exterior & 5% interior) and assisting contracted staff with seasonal duties including landscaping, mowing, snow and garbage removal.
The daily pickup of garbage, cardboard and recycling.
Planning, prioritizing, performing and monitoring preventative maintenance, including : painting, plumbing and other minor repairs as required.
Responding to and completing service requests in a timely manner.
Performing daily inspections of the property (internal / external).
Assisting with the set-up and take-down of promotional events.
Working outdoors during different weather conditions.
High School diploma.
2 years of maintenance experience in a commercial or retail building.
Knowledge of provincial health and safety standards and WHMIS.
A basic First Aid Certificate.
The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform work on ladders.
A valid driver’s licence with no infractions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
