  • Overseeing general tidiness of property (95% exterior & 5% interior) and assisting contracted staff with seasonal duties including landscaping, mowing, snow and garbage removal.
  • The daily pickup of garbage, cardboard and recycling.
  • Planning, prioritizing, performing and monitoring preventative maintenance, including : painting, plumbing and other minor repairs as required.
  • Responding to and completing service requests in a timely manner.
  • Performing daily inspections of the property (internal / external).
  • Assisting with the set-up and take-down of promotional events.
  • Working outdoors during different weather conditions.
  • High School diploma.
  • 2 years of maintenance experience in a commercial or retail building.
  • Knowledge of provincial health and safety standards and WHMIS.
  • A basic First Aid Certificate.
  • The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform work on ladders.
  • A valid driver’s licence with no infractions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • A team-oriented approach to meeting goals and objectives.
  • A willingness to admit mistakes and easily digest constructive feedback, using it as a learning opportunity.
