Fujitsu Canada is currently seeking a full time, permanent Organizational Change Management Lead (OCM), with experience in the management and delivery of training related to the implantation of enterprise level information management systems, to support our Education Services business line based in Toronto, Ontario.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background and understanding of Organizational Change Management practices and principles relating to the implementation of Student Information Management Systems, who will play a key role in ensuring the successful rollout of change initiatives to increase client adoption and usage.

With assistance from the Change Management and Business / Learning teams, this resource will focus on the people side of change, including adjustments to business processes, job roles and organizational structures influencing the adoption of new digital technologies.

The work will involve the development and management of a Communications Plan and Learning Schedules, as well as overseeing the delivery of change and adoption opportunities such as Awareness Workshops, Implementation Planning Work-

shops and Application Onboarding and Business Cycle learning events. Responsibilities :

  • Provide leadership and change management expertise;
  • Develop change management strategies and detailed change management plans for the change initiative
  • Develop specific OCM deliverables such as Stakeholder Analysis and Engagement plans, Communication Plans, Awareness campaigns, impact assessments etc.
  • Prepare the project change management team, including customer leadership, for their roles in execution of the change management plan;
  • Develop and oversee delivery of a Learning Opportunities Schedule of events in support of all phases of the change management plan, including Awareness Workshops;
  • Implementation Planning Workshops; and onboarding and ongoing Learning Events and Support Sessions.

  • Manage collaboratively and / or coordinate activities of the Change Management Team, specifically related to the Learning Opportunities Schedule;
  • Conduct or review ongoing risk / impact assessments and provide support throughout the project to determine potential challenges / barriers and identify corresponding risk mitigation strategies;
  • Continually assess progress of change readiness by stakeholder groups and refine or supplement the change management plan as required;
  • Coach business unit / customer leaders in change management principles and their practical application in a project context
  • Act as key liaison between the project manager, business leads, clinical subject matter experts and other project team members;
  • Work with business leaders / management and support personnel to build commitment to change and identify barriers and opportunities to successful implementation;
  • Provide support (feedback, coaching etc.) to the change management analyst for all change management activities
  • Maintain an open collaborative approach in all areas of customer engagement ;
  • Practice a continual improvement principle of action;
  • Implement / support and foster Agile and Scrum methodology practices.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Mandatory Skills and Experience : Organizational Change Management :

  • 5-10 Years' as an OCM Analyst in a facilitation, coordination, learning, project planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation capacity
  • 3-5 Years' experience in the following :
  • Experience managing teams, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making, coaching and mentoring
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent analytic and decision making abilities
  • Comfortable with and effective in eliminating barriers and working across organizational, functional boundaries to achieve corporate objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with external and internal customers, including senior management
  • Ability to relay or explain complex issues or deal with difficult situations
  • Able to manage multiple conflicting priorities, reprioritize tasks, establish priorities, work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Business Analyst / Learning Professional :

  • Business Analysis experience or knowledge - ability to translate business requirements into sustainable effective technology based solutions (Previous experience as Business Analyst on system implementation / integration related projects)
  • Experience with or good understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle methodologies.
  • Demonstrated competency in adult learning delivery techniques and methods and experience in the development and delivery of user training.
  • Familiarity or experience with various online delivery tools)

  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills, demonstrating an understanding of individual stakeholder’s business needs.

  • Desirable :

  • Direct experience working with, or operational level knowledge of, K-12 School District business environments.
  • Knowledge of or training / certification in ITIL practices and Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on different projects / activities with competing demands to meet defined deadlines.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with a strong ability to work independently.
  • Application testing experience.
