The Department of Political Science at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, invites applications for a limited-term appointment in Canadian and Québec Politics, and Methodology.
Applications should consist of a cover letter, a current curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching philosophy / interests, and evidence of teaching effectiveness.
Survey and Research Design; Research Methods; and Canadian Political Parties. Successful applicants must be qualified to teach at all levels of the undergraduate and graduate programs.
A completed Ph.D., or one near completion, is necessary. Evidence of teaching effectiveness is a key attribute by which qualified candidates are ranked.

This position is subject to budgetary approval and department / unit need. Individuals holding limited-term appointments may be granted a subsequent appointment, given continued funding and need, as well as satisfactory job performance.
Together, initial appointments and subsequent appointments may not exceed 36 months or a span of three consecutive years.
They are normally at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor, beginning August 1, 2018, and ending May 14, 2019. Successful candidates will normally be expected to teach three courses per semester.
