The Furniture Account Manager will have responsibility of the commercial development, sales and management of strategic National or Regional Account's for our furniture products along with customer satisfaction.
This position has the responsibility to deliver the required sales to ensure the overall sales volume and profitability is achieved.
This position collaborates with Management, Marketing, and Operations leaders to ensure adequate commercial product and service initiatives and promotions meet account sales and profit goals.
In addition this position is responsible for the strategic account planning, execution, evaluation, financial management (pricing) and presentation to key account(s).
Required to travel to customer by car.
Manufacturer show room visits maybe a required.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in outside sales prospecting new business
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in facilitating collaborative meetings to develop strategic working relationships with one or more of the following audiences CEO, CFO, Board of Directors, Facility Managers, Building Officials, Procurement Managers, Architects, Designers and Building Contractors
Post-secondary Education in Sales, Marketing or Business or equivalent level of experience
