POSITION SUMMARY :
Working from our Kingston office, this Full Time 6 month temporary position will be responsible for coordinating pharmacy support services ensuring that the department provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis.
Under the direction of the National Director for CPS, the Service Coordinator will facilitate customer requests and inquiries and will perform in a supportive and leadership role with the CSR Team.
Will provide schedule planning support to health care team
Appropriately schedule staff to ensure continuity of care in the provision of service delivery
Ensures higher level of customer service while ensuring staff receive the information required to be successful in their role
Support orientation of the health care team, ensuring understanding of processes and timelines
Records and processes orders and / or inquiries received
Update and maintain an electronic client database
File and maintain client records
Perform data entry of all relevant client, employee and billing information
Effective and timely communication with customers and clients that enhances customer service satisfaction and facilitates efficient service delivery by providers
Provide support to billing activities
REQUIREMENTS : Bilingual
Registered with the College of nurses of Ontario
Health care training preferred
Demonstrated Clinical experience
Medical terminology training preferred
Must be available days and evenings - flexible hours between 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Intermediate data entry / keyboarding skills
Demonstrated experience in Alayacare
Intermediate reading comprehension and excellent verbal communication skills
Demonstrated customer service skills and problem solving, initiating various approached with realistic goals in mind
Ability to relate and interact with clients, colleagues and community representatives in a professional and purposeful manner
Adaptability and the ability to deal with tight deadlines
An ability to work independently
An ability to prioritize, multi-task and deal with competing priorities
Good personal organizational skills
Related work experience and a familiarity with community health care services is preferred
Generate and distribute various scheduling and billing reports
Investigate and follow up in errors / discrepancies in services ordered or provided.
Under supervision, monitors compliance with CPS contractual requirements
Other office administrative duties as assigned.
