Responsibilities include :

  • Coordinating lab equipment calibration and ensuring equipment is in proper working condition
  • Managing the inventory of lab equipment, evaluation boards and test chips
  • Coordinating the shipping of boards / devices to customers and other Synopsys sites
  • Interfacing with vendors to order tests, components, boards and equipment
  • Assisting in data collection by operating the ATE (Teradyne J750) or evaluation boards
  • Assisting engineers with analyzing data and preparing internal / external characterization reports
  • Occasional off-shift data collection (working afternoons and evenings)
  • Performing equipment / board modifications as directed by the test engineers
  • Requirements include :

  • Typically requires a college degree with 4+ years of relevant direct industry work experience.
  • Must have strong debugging and soldering skills
  • Ability to multitask and have been in a similar role working with vendors, customer interfacing and highly organized
  • PCB design knowledge along with troubleshooting board schematics and layout
