Here's how...

Here are some of the awesome you'll do, to deliver value for TELUS and our customers :

  • Lead, coach and develop a high performing and highly engaged team; nurture the personal and career development of team members
  • Lead the development and execution of initiatives that will transform TELUS Critical Network Spares Management, in close collaboration with your stakeholders within the Network Operations, Technology Strategy, and Planning and Engineering teams
  • Lead the design and implementation of data optimization tools to ensure the most effective distribution of critical parts to meet reliability Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
  • Oversee 400 plus physical storage locations across Canada
  • Manage the part sourcing process to allow technicians to acquire parts when needed, including automated self-serve tools
  • Manage the Reverse logistics process to recover defective parts from the field and oversee repairs by original equipment manufacturer (OEM) suppliers
  • Design and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and review performance with key internal & external stakeholders
  • Introduce best-in-class supply chain management techniques and practices with a focus on disciplined execution, consistently meeting or exceeding internal customer and external market expectations
  • Qualifications

  • Experience and success in leading a team of Management Professionals to achieve breakthrough results
  • A passion for customers and improving the customer experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in influencing senior leaders
  • Superior analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills; Recognized as a collaborative team player
  • Track record of leading operations improvements through team member engagement, process simplification and cost optimization
  • Strong understanding and experience of Supply Chain KPIs and key performance drivers and controls
  • Composed and poised when dealing with complex, customer escalations
  • Experience managing a budget
  • 5-8 years’ in a similar role and / or related education with demonstrated performance and increasing levels of responsibility
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering and / or similar discipline with analytical bias
  • Great-to-haves...

  • Retail supply chain demand planning and inventory management experience is an asset
  • Critical Hardware Spares management knowledge & expertise is an asset
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is an asset
