Position Summary :

We have been engaged to identify and present a Pre-Sales Professional with a team management background who possesses a substantial background and Subject Matter Expertise in the Property and Casualty insurance space.

The required Manager, Pre-Sales will manage a team of 3-5 Pre-Sales Engineers, each possessing technical and functional skills that, under the leadership of the Presales Manager, will help the organization realize the full potential of its sales pipeline and existing sales initiatives.

øThe Manager will help work closely with the Sales Team in designing and executing the team's sales strategy, both strategically and for each individual client.

øThe required Pre-Sales Manager will drive the technical qualification and closure aspects of the sales cycle while helping in meeting revenue goals by substantially contributing to closing deals and winning bids.

øThe Presales Manage will map the customer's business and technical needs and deploy his / her resources to align the software solution to the client’s specific functional / technical environment.

øHelp develop a clear and jointly agreed upon solution architecture and migration plan.

øCoordinate with Product Management / technical team to customize the software and / or ensure customer specific feature development is realized.

øRelying on his / her substantial industry knowledge, the Manager will advise the client and the internal sales teams on industry best practices and optimal use of the software / solution offered.

øDefine and manage the pre-sales process and best practice.

øConduct performance management process for members of team, recognizing success and immediately addressing issues.

øFoster a culture which encourages deep customer commitment, intellectual curiosity, and a revenue-focus

øWork closely with the Human Resources team to help recruit, interview, and hire appropriate resources

Qualifications :

øA strong background in the ENTERPRISE INSURANCE SOFTWARE filed (4-6 years experience).

øExcellent experience with the sales process, specifically having managed a presales team in a growing enterprise software company.

øExcellent understanding of team management, team dynamics, team motivation and team deployments.

øExperience managing multiple mid to large size client engagements and customized solutions.

øExcellent functional knowledge of the Insurance Industry (regulations, best practices, etc..,)

øProgressive career development within a pre-sales vertical (sales engineer to pre-sales manager).

øGood technical grasp of technical & functional aspects of Insurance and / or financial services.

øExcellent Client interfacing skills, client presentation skills, and issue resolution.

øIn-depth knowledge of enterprise software sales cycle, from requirement gathering to pre-sales and implementation / UAT.

øWorking knowledge of enterprise software development environments, such as J2EE and SOA.

øEnergetic, Self-motivated and revenue focused with a customer focused approach.

Compensation : Compensation : up to $130,000 base, plus up to 30% in bonuses and commissions.
