RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Define andcoordinate HR policies and action plans;
  • Develop,revise and unify the company's procedures;
  • Managerecruiting from A to Z for the head office : identify needs, determine the bestrecruitment methods, manage the interview process and ensure the properintegration of new employees;
  • Establishand manage the budget for the department;
  • Maintainand update pay equity and ensure compensation policies that promote retentionof employees;
  • Propose andfacilitate the process of annual interviews and salary review;
  • Superviseand coordinate payroll for all employees in Canada;
  • Act as apoint of contact for government agencies and others;
  • Assist andadvise all managers by offering coaching and advice on various aspects of humanresources management : recruitment, performance management, skills development,labor laws, etc.
  • Manage thegroup insurance program and all other benefits offered;
  • Manage theculture and social activities committee of the company;
  • Stay tunedto best practices in human resources;
  • Supervisethe work of a Human Resources Coordinator;
  • Perform allother tasks and projects as needed.
  • KEYQUALIFICATIONS :

  • Universitydegree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration orequivalent;
  • 6 to 8years of human resources experience, including a minimum of 2-year experiencein a management position;
  • Goodknowledge of Excel and the Google office suite;
  • Goodknowledge of federal and provincial employment laws and of payroll too;
  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills in both French and English;
  • Excellentnegotiation skills;
  • Autonomousand rigorous, you know how to manage several priorities at the same time andwork under pressure;
  • You have astrong work ethic and strong interpersonal skills;
  • Ability toproactively solve problems and think strategically;
  • Dynamic andenergetic personality as well as a positive and ingenious team spirit;
  • Experiencewith the payroll system Work Force Now (ADP), an asset;
  • Experiencein retail, an asset.
