The Global Data, Integration and Analytics (GDIA) group has an exciting opportunity for an Agile Project Manager to join our talented team.
We are looking for an individual to lead multiple initiatives in an agile environment as part of a large and complex business intelligence and analytics portfolio.
The Agile Project Manager drives the successful delivery of projects across multiple teams and escalates impediments, manages risk, and helps drive continuous improvement.
An effective Agile Project Manager at McCain will have a tremendous impact on our ability to be more efficient with new releases and enhancements to the products that are transforming our business.
Project Planning and Management Provide hands-on management and coaching of agile teams in all aspects of an agile methodology (including : facilitating daily stand-
up meetings, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings, backlog grooming, daily routines, self-organization, collaboration, iterative development, managing flow, calculating velocity, limiting work in progress, etc.)
Track and communicate team velocity, sprint / release progress, and other metrics to all affected teams and management
Team Facilitation Lead and develop high performing agile teams. Hold teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work;
leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
Product Owner Support Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system to drive business engagement that delivers value sprint after sprint
Agile Coach - Educate the team on consistent and effective use of agile best practices as needed to continually improve team productivity
Display agile leadership and act as an agent for change within the organizationReviews current agile processes, drives process improvements and challenges team to innovateWork to help all levels of the organization understand the benefits of working agile.

Remain informed about industry trends and best practices concerning agile methodologies and advances those best practices in the organization
Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
Advanced knowledge of Agile development methodologies and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in complex agile environment
Experience in an Agile framework(s) : Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, Lean, Test-Driven Development, or equivalent
Experience transforming large complex organizations from waterfall project-based environment to the scaled agile model
Balanced business / technical background. Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
Solid understanding of software development life cycle models, as well as expert knowledge of both agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
Familiar with Agile framework support tools like VersionOne, Rally, JIRA, TFS, Lean-Kit, etc.
Knowledge and use of industry accepted Software Development methodology
Basic knowledge and / or experience with agile engineering practices and techniques such as User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing, etc.
Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills with Business and IT team members
Positive and flexible team player with a passion for impact is a must
PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or equivalent certification is an asset
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is an asset
Experience working in a Project Management Office is a plus
This position is located at the Global Technology Centre in Florenceville-Bristol, New Brunswick and reports to the Manager of Global Analytic Solutions.
Florenceville-Bristol is a small community nestled on the banks of the Saint John River and offers a global work environment with a small-
