Job Summary :
Enter all sales transactions in the point-of-sale terminal, in accordance with established policy. Record sales transactions, answer and forward phone calls and provide customer service.

Main Responsibilities are :
Greet customers and direct them toward appropriate sales staff
Process all sales transactions, receive payments and obtain the necessary authorizations for purchases made by cheque or credit card
Assume responsibility for the entry of all transactions in the point-of-sale system
Remove anti-theft tags, wrap merchandise and check size of articles
Answer and forward telephone calls and follow-up with customers
1 year’s experience in a cashier’s position
Experience in retail environment an asset
Basic math skills
