Our client is a well-respected mortgage broker in Vancouver. They started 12 years ago for the non-conventional mortgage market and provide services to other financial companies who forward clients that don’t fit in their lending guidelines.
Due to their success in the industry, they are looking to expand their team immediately.
The successful candidate will have some mortgage advising experience and desire to join a professional organization. All clients are referred to the brokerage by the major banks, no desk / office fees are asked of the employees and the office is a great environment for financial success.
Advisors are compensated for the files they close that come into the office, and business development is not expected or necessary.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include :
Develop, establish and maintain relationships with Origination Partners to ensure the status of inquiries / referrals and private labeling the company as their Alternative Funding Program
Interview borrowers, review their mortgage needs and analyze their options. Present results to borrower on Mortgage Illustration.
Maintain strong knowledge of Canadian lenders and their products by reviewing the lender policies and guidelines and regular meetings with the Product Manager for updates.
Prepare the paperwork and present application for submission to the appropriate lender, which best meets, the client’s objectives.
Sell commitment letters to clients, the Borrowers, by using the Sales Techniques provided and sharing best practices amongst other Mortgage Advisors.
