Vice President, Banking Technology, the Senior System Administrator (T24) will be responsible for planning, installation, documentation, and support of Temenos T24 application banking software.

The successful candidate will have experience in delivering and operating stable and cost-effective T24 systems that support the organization's I.

  • T. applications, infrastructure, and services. Responsabilités : Directs the Application Management for Temenos T24 in multiple environments Supports and provides guidance to second level (desktop support) analysts on issues related to Temenos T24 desktop application Deploys configuration changes and code upgrades Works with hosting provider on T24 server management (Websphere, AIX, Oracle) Configures Java (java memory management and tuning;
  • careful watch for ?memory handling) Manages Disaster Recovery methodology and design COB (Close of Business) management and experience in reduction in time taken for COB (common issue with Temenos) using tuning of JAgents, memory allocation, T24 management of routines) Backup and restore Management of High Availability -

  • T24 application logic, logs and configuration) J-AGENTS : watch for unintended consequences for custom routines ? Performance tuning and results experienced;
  • always part of the conversation Security Management System (user control management for various bank roles) Log analysis and management Uses DW EXPORT which is a Temenos tool for extracting customer data from or feeding data to T24 Works with Release Manager to ensure environment and code alignment are maintained.

    Provides standard server administration operations including service management, incident management, change management, and problem management.

    Manages shared storage and backups. Responsible for Incident, Change and Problem Management. Plans and schedules the installations / upgrades of new hardware / software.

    Helps to establish and monitors key performance indicators, taking effective action where results are below SLA targets.

    Ensures that effective ITIL-based best practices are maintained for interactions with support vendors. Provides input on hardware / software purchases.

    Support of 24 / 7 production systems. Qualifications : University Degree in a technical or business-related discipline and 4 to 6 years of related work experience role in a 24x7 operating environment or College Diploma in a technical or business-

    related discipline and 7 to 10 years of related work experience role in a 24x7 operating environment. Experience applying ITIL best practices is preferred.

    Expert level experience with Temenos T24, Temenos Business Insight, Visual Studio, and DW Export. Senior level experience with web servers / database installation and support.

    Experience managing or delivering I.T. services and operations within outsourced services environment. Bilingualism (English / French) communication skills are an asset.

    Other On call availability. After hours and weekend implementations management and coordination.
