What is the opportunity?

The Global Credit & Cash Management team in RBC Wealth Management provides a global centre of expertise in credit and cash management solutions delivered by client-

facing professionals who provide holistic wealth

  • Being the subject matter expert for credit and collateral systems used in RBC WM
  • Assessing the fit of current management solutions to HNW and UHNW clients around the world.
  • This position helps support these objectives by : systems and opportunities to develop the capability for planned growth

  • Streamlining and improving the portfolio analysis and reporting capacity by upgrading system capabilities
  • What will you do?

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for credit and collateral systems used globally and assist WM staff in all locations
  • As a resource, train and help users globally on all aspects, including enhancements, of the collateral monitoring system
  • Work to continuously improve the operational capabilities of delivering credit solutions.
  • Provide superior client experience and strengthen relationship with business partners
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive automation within the credit process
  • Identify and develop initiatives to improve the credit portfolio analysis capacity and capital optimization opportunities.
  • Participate in the definition, design, development and User Acceptance Testing of changes / enhancements to the collateral monitoring system
  • What do you need to succeed?

    Must Have

  • University Degree in Business, Computer or Data Science
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with RBC securities brokerage, margin lending and custody systems
  • Familiarity with Corporate and Retail credit & banking systems, products, structures and reporting
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL, MS Access, Excel
  • Solid knowledge of relational database design, Data Quality concepts & web-based applications and Knowledge of RBC Enterprise Reporting Applications
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Nice to Have

  • Strong understanding of Wealth Management credit business including inter-relationships between the business, functions and Group Risk Management
  • Good understanding of BCRMS, Sales Platform, CMS, and CART would be an advantage
  • Project Management experience
  • Completed Canadian Securities Course
