We are committed to building a team that is committed to pets and their owners. Your Pet, Our Passion® Position Summary Nestlé Purina PetCare is seeking 4 Temporary Sanitation Operators at our facility in Mississauga.

The Temporary Sanitation Operators will perform cleaning and sanitation tasks in order to maintain the facility up to standards.

The tasks include but are not limited to : Sanitizing areas and equipment using the proper chemicals, utensils and gear.

Two shift available as follows Friday Sunday 8am-8pm AND Saturday Monday 8am-8pm. Physical Requirements

  • Employees will be working in dusty and hot environment.
  • Must have the ability to work safely in all areas of the facility.
  • Must have the ability to lift / carry up to 50lbs from the floor.
  • Must have the ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must have the ability to bend, stoop, and kneel on a frequent basis.
  • Qualifications

  • Successful completion of High School
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Forklift Operator Certification is preferred
  • 1-2 years’ work experience in a food manufacturing setting and / or warehouse environment
  • Proficient in use of the English language, including oral communication, writing and reading
  • Basic understanding of sanitation processes and related equipment
  • Ability to run sanitation equipment
  • Ability to read, comprehend and communicate safety labels on chemical containers
  • Must be able to work well with others
