    We’re looking for a strong and dedicated Millwright or Packaging Maintenance Technician to join our team. The right candidate will be a part of the Production team a team consisting of enthusiastic professionals who are passionate and driven to continuous improvement.

    Reporting to the Production Technical Manager, the Millwright or Packaging Maintenance Technician will maintain, troubleshoot, set-

    up, repair, plan, install and rebuild production and associated machinery.


  • Correctly diagnose a mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic problems and expedite its repair
  • Involved with the creation of proper documentation and assist in operator training
  • Perform machining requirements, including the proper use of lathes, mills, surface grinders, drill press, welding and brazing equipment and other machine shop related practices
  • Performs size-change on packaging lines and prepare them for different product formats.
  • Troubles shoot Vision Systems and serialization equipment such as Inkjets, Thermal printers, HMIs & cameras.

  • Trade certification in appropriate field (licensed Millwright, Tool and Die, Electro-mechanical Controls, Machine Fitter etc.
  • required OR currently enrolled in the Millwright Apprenticeship program and on course to become licensed in a few months.

  • In-depth knowledge of mechanics and machine shop practices
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical, Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Experience with PLC and the ability to read motor control schematics
  • Ability to work any shift, including evenings and weekends
  • 2 years College diploma in a technical program such as Electromechanical technician, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic etc. strongly preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ of Millwright or Electro-Mechanical experience in the Food or Pharmaceutical industry preferred
