As a Senior IT Manager of Store Systems, you are responsible to provide technical direction for the design, development and implementation of all store system retail solutions.
You will also be responsible for technical guidance and knowledge for any Third Party software utilized for Store System solutions.
You and your team will act as Third Level escalation contacts for Store System related issues. This means that you have a deep understanding of all store systems and corresponding integrations to be able to troubleshoot and resolve high severity, negative business impacting issues in a timely manner.
You are also able to provide concise technical and business communications to appropriate team members to ensure correct information is being exchanged.
This position will require you to provide after hours support.
Post-secondary education in IT or related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ technical background with Retail Systems.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a team in IT.
Has a programming background in popular language such as Java, VB or .Net. Used to designing and developing software for business users.
Expert level with SQL and able to write queries over large production databases.
Strong problem solver with proven history of being able to quickly resolve urgent and complex business impacting system issues.
Able to quickly translate issues and service disruptions by adjusting vocabulary and approach to the audience being addressed.
Competent with Windows Operating Systems (Security and Services) and basic knowledge of Windows Networking.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team player with a strong work ethic, detail oriented and self-motivated.
Able to effectively meet deadlines, prioritize, plan, organize, schedule
