Our client located in Brampton, ON is actively looking for a qualified candidate to fill this full time permanent role. Hours are Monday to Friday 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.
Greet individuals entering the office and direct them to correct area
Perform office clerical duties such as printing, scanning, photocopying etc.
Maintain the front desk in a professional manner
Answer and operate the telephone system and switchboard
Direct and forward calls to correct individuals, as well taking messages
Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments when necessary
Interact with couriers and sort incoming mail
2-3 years experience in a similar role
Post-Secondary education in a related field
Human Resources education focus is an asset
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to deal professionally with individuals at all levels within the organization, as well as with external contacts
Ability to multitask, demonstrate organizational skills, and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Highly organized and able to prioritize
Energetic, punctual, reliable and be able to work both as a team player and alone
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
