What is the opportunity?

As the Senior Technical Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for development, maintenance and support of multiple Windows and Linux applications.

You will partner across IT, assigned business lines and 3rd party vendor, to analyze issues and technical system needs in order to resolve business issues and provide business solutions.

You will have opportunities to work on critical RBC applications.

What will you do?

  • Assess, research and analyze business and system needs, exploring alternative options to recommend technology solutions and designs that meet sponsor needs and Project Life Cycle (PLC)
  • Hands-on system integration Linux and Windows platform
  • Design, code, document and execute unit test, system, integration and acceptance test
  • Prepare high level and detailed technical specifications for small to medium projects in accordance with Project Life Cycle (PLC), security and architecture documentation objectives.
  • Provide accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project.
  • Contribute to and participate in walkthrough reviews of all technical specifications, programs and unit test plans.
  • Facilitate small to large group meetings for technical design, decision making, problem solving and task implementation.
  • Resolve conflicts / issues and escalate as appropriate.

  • Provide on call 7 / 24 afterhours support
  • What do you need to succeed?


  • 5+ years hands-on experience in Linux, DMZ, Web Load balancing, WAS, JDBC, IHS, MQ.
  • 8+ years of experience developing, supporting multiple applications and carrying support pager.
  • 8+ years of experience in Windows platform, Windows 7, Win2012 Server, SQL, MS SQL server 2012, VB .net,, C#, Java, IIS.
  • Strong communication skills. Be able to communicate effectively in both technical and business terms.
  • Strong analytical skill set. Must be a team player.
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent.
  • Nice-to-have

  • Working knowledge in Mainframe z / OS technologies such as JCL, TSO / ISPF, Endevor, On Demand, ZEKE, RACF)
