You’re an awesome team player who will drive our Total Rewards & supporting operational strategy forward. Your passion, strong payroll accounting expertise and knowledge and exceptional collaboration abilities are strengths that will be critical in the delivery of our products and services.
Your insightful portfolio analytics and recommendations and knowledge of our processes and areas for opportunity will influence strategic decisions made by leaders.
You’ll also team up with friendly, supportive internal partners, including P&C leadership and business partner members and our key business stakeholders, and external stakeholders, such as government agencies, to shape the future of work.
Oxley control requirements Provide feedback, coaching and information sessions as required to ensure compliance with federal and provincial legislation and company policies Accountable for the accuracy, limit in use and protection of team member data within your role Leverage and enhance our use of the SAP payroll and financial systems to support your deliverables Put your payroll accounting skills to use in supporting the financial part of our payroll business, leading your own payroll finance team of 7 Accountable for all journal entries, general ledger (GL) accounts and third party payments for the portfolio
Operations at various meetings, acting as a technical payroll accounting resource
compliance Implement payroll accounting best practices for TELUS’ pay policies to improve processes, deselect non-value-add work to ultimately increase efficiency and time to focus on our customer Support the preparation of monthly activity reports that support our P&C - Operations dashboard
