We currently have a regular full time opportunity for a Corporate Instructor / Support Analyst - Clinical in our Client Services department at our Bayview campus.
Reporting to the Director, Client Services the incumbent will :
Prepare and hold training classes using corporate applications based on work flow needs
Identify and prepare for different levels of training needs required for different health care professional groups e.g.
physicians, nurses, unit coordinators, administrative staff etc.
Determine the training requirements for the different groups identified (basic classes, clinical and admin perspectives).
Prepare reports on shadowing of different group’s workflow.
Develop or revise the content and case examples required for each training class offering
Work with team to customize training material and sessions based on specific work flow needs (sustainability)
Develop / revise training material products, including scripts, manuals and video sessions for classroom and electronic learning formats
Assist with the development and implementation of automated refresher courses via electronic formats
Identify and develop evaluation tools for each training class offering
Qualifications / Skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience delivering in-class / face-to face training on clinical systems to a broad array of clinicians
At least 3 years of recent clinical experience and experience working with clinical teams
Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Experience conducting workflow assessments,
Knowledge of specific applications ( i.e. OPIS, PCS, EPR) preferred
Proficient computer skills including electronic communication, word processing, spreadsheets and databases
Awareness of adult education principles an asset
