The New Product and Service Introduction team (part of the Learning Solutions team) is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and driven individual with a proven track-

record to join our team. As a Project Manager II, you will play a key role planning, executing and delivering complex projects for Broadband Networks (BBN).

In this role, you will collaborate across business units, and with key partners, to execute on initiatives with high complexity and / or business impact.

The ability to autonomously lead strategies through the creation of solution alternatives, assessments, planning and analysis is key to the success of the individual in this role.

Your expertise will help us drive innovation and continuous improvement in the learning experiences we deliver to our BBN team members.

Reporting to the Manager, NPSI, this position is accountable for end-to-end project delivery.

In this role, YOU will :

  • Work in partnership with our stakeholders to build execution plans for a specific portfolio strategy
  • Using your project management expertise, you will enable cross-functional teams to deliver on new products & services projects, bringing valuable input and organized planning skills to the group
  • As a leader within NPSI, you will directly affect change by bringing thought leadership and best practices to the team to help us continually improve processes, knowledge and partner engagement
  • Gain an understanding of the intricacies of front line technician work and how to best improve their efficiency and processes
  • Qualifications

    You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Experience leading large scale projects with multiple partner groups
  • If you’re applying for this role you should have at least 3-5 years’ work experience managing projects or leading cross functional teams
  • You’ll have a solid background in dealing with ambiguous requirements and translating them into concrete project outcomes
  • It would be very advantageous to have experience of Agile project management (Scrum / Kanban environments) methodologies
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of leadership, problem solving, negotiation and analytical skills
  • It’s a given that you’ll have excellent all round communication and collaboration skills you’ll seamlessly speak the language of many different audiences and be able translate complex technical topics into easily understood concepts for our partners, executives and team members, and stakeholders over 200 participants of varying levels
  • Being a self-starter, highly motivated, creative and self-sufficient with the ability to work successfully under pressure will ensure success in this role as will a great sense of humour
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education and / or experience
  • Candidates with a PMP designation would have a distinct advantage but this is a nice to have rather than a must have
  • Additionally a working understanding of JIRA would be an asset
