Position Overview The Branch Manager leads an integrated team of financial services professionals with overall accountability for delivering a best-

in-class member experience, focused on financial wellness and proactive advice-based solutions.

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the branch including annual operating plans, targets and audit results.

The incumbent is committed to driving smart growth, monitoring progress against desired outcomes and championing the team operating model with the primary focus of obtaining and deepening member relationships.

Acts as a personal role model for continuous learning, actively seeking feedback to grow and develop personal and team capability.

Builds a high performing and highly engaged team by proactively coaching team members to achieve their full potential by developing their skills, confidence and capability.

Proactively develops a strong internal network, building relationships across the organization to effectively implement operating plans and achieve results.

Acts as a personal role model for business development by proactively building a strong external network with key centre’s of influence.

Builds connections within the community by actively and consistently attending or participating in community events, associations or clubs.

Acts as the change leader for the team and keeps the team focused on driving smart growth and delivering on the credit union’s Vision and Purpose during the natural course of business changes and shifting priorities.

The Branch Manager promotes member-centric innovation and leads with courage by asking questions that trigger a new or different way of thinking and respectfully challenging the status quo and by sharing ideas for an improved member experience or process.

The Branch Manager believes in our Vision, is empowered and is a key contributor in bringing the 2020 plan to life; and as the overall leader for the branch, creates clarity and gains commitment from the team for the shared Vision, Purpose and Values.

Responsibilities Responsible for and committed to the overall business performance of the branch and drives execution to meet or exceed business objectives, financial budgets, performance targets and net promoter scores.

Analyses sales and activity reports to identify team strengths, opportunities and contribution to organizational goals. Creates actionable plans that address key priorities and goals, leveraging the right resources to deliver results.

  • Provides weekly reporting on sales and activity results for Regional Directors. Experience Five plus years in the financial services industry;
  • Three plus years in a leadership role developing and leading high performing teams;
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences within in a proactive needs-based solutions culture; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
