As the Sr.

Manager Alarm & Event Solutions you will lead a small team of highly skilled technology engineers to deploy and integrate fault & performance management solutions.

You will be accountable for developing use cases, assessing and tracking value, technical delivery, and support of solutions for various groups in Global Technology infrastructure (GTI), including Global Hosting Services and Service Continuity.

What will you do?

  • Ensures smooth implementation of system changes to mitigate impact to business unit daily activities and clients utilizing T&O change management practices for release, build, configuration and environment management.
  • Define and deliver on SLAs and proactively mitigate system down time.
  • Provides work estimates using fact / metrics based model with supporting assumptions.
  • Resolves complex issues and conflicts (including architectural direction vs.
  • project constraints); escalates when required.

  • Sets technical direction for all applications and maintenance initiatives ensuring adherence to overall IT direction. Key contributor in the creation of technical strategy for applications.
  • Ensures departmental priorities are completed by identifying and defining project details necessary for successful completion including documentation and project tracking.
  • Researches emerging trends / best practices and determines implications of proposed solutions on meeting business unit strategy and suggesting alternative approaches / solutions..
  • Acts as primary
  • IT liaison with multiple interfacing applications, 3rd party vendors, IT Executive and / or Project Managers.
  • Must Have

  • Experience working on MOOGsoft, Zabbix, Nagios, SCOM or other equivalent management solutions
  • 3-5 years of Technology Management experience
  • 3-5 years People Management experience
  • Professional experience with technology infrastructure management
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Nice-to-have

  • Strong knowledge of IT operations and IT Service Management
  • Strong knowledge of Security Operations
