What is the opportunity?

As a member of RBC Wealth Management Services, your role as a High Net Worth / Business Owner Financial Specialist is to work with our advisors to deliver high value customized advice and guidance on tax, estate, business succession planning and overall wealth planning to business owner and HNW clients of RBC.

What will you do?

Business Strategies & Execution

  • Provide professional support to team members and partners within RBC Wealth Management Canada and RBC Commercial Financial Services
  • Accountable for executing the Wealth Management Services high net worth clients and business owner strategy
  • Working with the team, develop and implement strategies to increase the scope of services to existing clients within RBC Wealth Management, RBC Commercial Markets and RBC Bank
  • Service

  • Accountable for ensuring effective delivery of business owner planning, tax and succession planning, estate planning and philanthropic planning
  • Increase RBC Wealth Management Canada’s exposure to affluent / wealthy clients and prospects within the market with a strong emphasis on development of the entrepreneurial market
  • Partner with and support other RBC units and develop strong internal and external networks and referral sources
  • Leadership

  • Provide coaching on wealth services products and services to partners within RBC Wealth Management, RBC Commercial Markets and RBC Bank
  • Support VP and Regional Director as change agent for needed changes in the Wealth Services Group and the Private Bank
  • Based in Toronto / Ontario OR Vancouver / British Columbia

    What do you need to succeed?

    Must-have :

  • University degree supported by a professional designation (C.A., C.F.A.,LLB.
  • CBV)

  • 10 years of related experience in one or more of the following areas : Accounting, Tax law, international tax, High-net worth / Business owner planning including succession planning
  • Recognized as an expert in tax / business owner planning services
  • Significant technical expertise in the areas of Owner / Succession Planning as well as individual Tax, International Tax Planning, Estate and Philanthropic planning
  • Knowledge and technical proficiency related to private wealth management strategies, issues and trends
  • Nice-to-have :

  • Multi-lingual (Cantonese / Mandarin) Preferred
  • CICA In Depth tax course or equivalent a strong asset
