What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to be the development lead on a team in Operations IT, Capital Markets Technology.

You will lead a team of developers and be working on a web application that touches modern technologies like Node.JS, RESTFul WebServices, OCR, integrating with vendor products.

You will be involved in all phases of the SDLC : gathering requirements, interacting with clients, evaluating technologies, architecture, low-

level design, implementation, code reviews, DevOps, and automation.

What will you do?

  • Lead the design and implementation of large java applications.
  • To take part in software and architectural development activities.
  • Conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging.
  • Identifying production and non-production application issues.
  • Transforming requirements into Agile Epics and Stories.
  • Develop, test, implement and maintain application software.
  • Recommend changes to improve established java application processes.
  • What do you need to succeed?

    Must-Have :

  • Excellent understanding of Core Java.
  • 5+ years working with Spring Framework; Knowledge of MyBatis.
  • BPM (Alfresco APS - Activiti) and ECM (Alfresco ACS) experience ideal.
  • Ability to debug and performance tune ANSI SQL.
  • Understanding of Service Oriented and MicroService Architecture.
  • Nice-to-Have :

  • Prior team lead experience.
  • Prior experience in an Agile environment.
  • Basic Financial and / or Capital Markets knowledge.
  • OCR (Optical Character Recognition) knowledge is good to have.
