The Provider Solutions Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Team is a small team with big scope.
We work with internal and external stakeholders to integrate our EMR applications with other actors in the broader health care system.

As a part of this team, the successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build integrated solutions that connect clinical information systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible working with cross functional teams to analyze and capture business requirements to support the advancement of TELUS Health’s integration strategy.
The Business Analyst (BA) will be accountable for moving our projects through the development cycle. The BA will support the Product Manager(s) in a variety of tasks related to product design, functional testing, troubleshooting, and communications.
The BA will be accountable and responsible for analysis and management of market and customer business requirements specific to maintenance of our existing electronic medical record applications and integration of our EMRs with other clinical information systems.
As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for :
Drive collaboration across multi-disciplined teams towards implementing our integrations roadmap
Work with other team members to interpret product requirements and produce epics to confirm requirements with the product manager, business unit leader or external partner
Collaborate with product and development teams to create and maintain user stories to guide development and testing
Own and manage the product backlog, balancing dependencies across multiple stakeholders
Communicate clearly the product vision and priorities
Support programmers and other analysts
Collaborate with testing teams to create and coordinate test plans, conformance plans & test strategies
Work with internal and external client to understand technical business requirements in a highly complex technical environment
Elicit and understand the related workflows, how they affect our customers and how our ecosystem might need to be enhanced to support the workflows
Create and maintain technical requirements documentation, software requirements and functional specifications
Develop material for and host demos with different stakeholder groups
Support other product launch activities such as developing and documenting operational processes
Please note : We are looking for both intermediate and senior level Business Analysts.
You're the missing piece of the puzzle
Post-secondary education in the Health Sciences / Computer Science and / or equivalent work experience / education
2+ years’ Business Analyst experience
1+ years’ healthcare experience preferably primary care
1+ years’ Agile / Scrum experience
Proficient in English and French (written and spoken)
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders
Desire to work in a fast-moving and dynamic environment
Experience working in an Agile environment and knowledge of the roles on an Agile team (our BAs act as the Product / Feature Owners)
Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and synthetic way
Working knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) applications
Strong knowledge of IT Privacy and Security concepts, PHI and proven ability to drive and support PIA and TRA projects for technical solutions
